I discovered this interesting piece of Reiki-related information while
carrying out research into other aspects of Takata-sensei's life.

To date [January 2013], this transcript of Takata-sensei talking about Reiki
(although, as will be seen, she does not actually mention the word 'Reiki') is the
earliest, 'public', English-language document to reference the subject I have yet discovered.
