Different ways of writing the Japanese surname ōmiya using kanji characters

The "Ō" in the name Ōmiya is a regular alternative reading / pronunciation
for the kanji character Reiki-folk pronounce as "Dai".
However, "mi-ya" is, it seems, a rather obscure classical reading / pronunciation
for the kanji characters we read as "kō myō"...
